One of the greatest things about being based out of a destination wedding area are the beautiful people who find their way here to tie the knot. When I first met Jon and Kasie for their engagement session, I instantly fell in love with them. They are the kind of people you meet and find that their smile and warmth is contagious. They are exactly the kind of people I love spending a wedding day with! They were so laid back and really just wanted a fun week on vacation with their close family....and get married on one of those days. Their intimate event embodied their love and party of twelve so beautifully.
There was a magical moment that happened about half way through the ceremony. Everyone paused for a performance by Patrick Major of Old 97's "Question" and he played it with absolute perfection. Something about being half way up the mountainside, with panoramic views of Lake Tahoe, and witnessing a group of poeple together to celebrate love, as a soundtrack like this plays, just sends chills up your spine. (did I use too many comma's... probably.)
