I heard a great quote that went along the lines of, "No one ever wanted 'I wish I worked more' written on their tombstone." When you look back on your life, it's time with your family that most likely warms the heart with joy and fulfillment. All of our lives are busy- add some little munchkins to the mix and the chaos multiplies exponentially. I want to be there to capture the times when your babies look at you like you're the most important person in their worlds. The moments you look at them and melt when they reach for your hand for safety. When you look at your partner through tired eyes and think about how much you've grown together. Those are the memories fill the heart for a lifetime.

Beginning and growing a family is such a beautiful and fleeting time in your life. It's incredible how fast time can fly and capturing the process will tug on any parents heart for the rest of their lives.
Wedding: Jillian & Danny
When she talks about Danny, she glows. She tells me about how, on a clear night, they’ll drive out into the open fields outside of Folsom, lay in Danny’s truck bed, and look at the stars. How he always picks her flowers. My heart melts. Their love is this old soul kind of love. Nothing really matters as long as they’re with each other. They were first married in a mock wedding at recess in elementary school, kids brought flowers, they made a ceremony site, all in the class were in attendance that day. As it often happens, they grew up, lost touch throughout the years, and went through high school and college. Then one Halloween, their paths crossed when her little nieces knocked on his door and their eyes met. He wasn't going to let her get away this time. A few years later, he proposed at the very playground where they were first married. It's a story made for a Nicholas Sparks novel! Here is their beautiful (real) wedding day…
